How OpenKept works
OpenKept gives your firm its own private box for AI. Your team uses it like the AI tools they already know. Every conversation is saved for your records, automatically.
- Your team asks, the AI answers.Draft letters to investors, summarize fund documents, answer due diligence questionnaires. Pick which AI models your firm uses, or let OpenKept choose.
- Every conversation is saved for your records.A copy of each conversation, including files people share, is kept for five years. Nobody can change or delete it, not even us.
- Only your firm can open your saved records. Two people you choose can open them, with Face ID or a fingerprint on their own phone or computer. A printed backup sheet gets you back in if both devices are ever lost.
- The AI companies don't keep your conversations.OpenKept only uses AI models under agreements that the AI company doesn't store or learn from what your team sends.
When a regulator asks
Pick the dates. OpenKept gathers every conversation from that period, checks that nothing is missing, and gives you one report to send. If anything was ever not saved, the report says so plainly.
Setting up
Click "Create your box," enter your work email, and open the link we send you. We set up your box and show you each step as it happens. Then invite your team, and choose the two people who can open your records.
Before your 30-day trial ends, we confirm you speak for your firm: either your Google or Microsoft administrator signs in once and confirms it's you, or your IT person adds a one-line record we walk them through.
